Thank you!
Thank you so much to the nice comments I received this week on my site and through email. They made my day but I should be thanking YOU for allowing me to take your photographs.
Update….during a shoot last weekend my camera landed on the hard tile floor….hard I may add! It is out of commission for at least fourteen days. I am so sorry!! It has to go to Loredo to be fixed by Sony. My backup camera got lost a couple of months ago in Oklahoma so that did not help either. I will be contacting those customers whose appointments are affected tomorrow…so sorry!!
I just came home from the emergency room with Carson. We had a scare but he is okay now.
Congrats Cameron for your Mr. Hebron High School nomination! Mom and dad are proud of YOU!
A little information…
To protect myself from infringement of copyright, the images you see on the blog are resized. When images are resized the quality of the photograph is compromised as well as clarity and sharpness. Please be confident that when you order your images, the sizes are restored and your images will exceed your expectations.
Thank you, Shirley
East Plano High School!
I had a great time photographing a very polite group ofkids celebrating their Homecoming. Here is a sneak peak of the many photos I took that evening. I hope it was a night to remember. Please check outmy senior gallery! I am currently booked through the new year but please think of me in the spring. It was a pleasure to meet everyone!

Katie!
This young lady has the most incredible hair I have ever seen. It is gorgeous! I have known Katie for years and she has grown up to be such a beautiful girl. Best wishes on all of your future plans!

What fun!
Introducing Jennifer…..the sweetest girl ever. We had a hard time planning our appointment as I realize I am the hardest person ever to catch these days. She was persistant and we finally got a date on teh calendar. There are so many great photos…here are three I quickly selected. Thanks Jennifer! It was a pleasure meeting your boyfriend!

Sneak Peaks! (finally)
Thank you everyone for being so patient! I have alot of sneak peaks to catch up on! Lets start with Cameron….what a great kid! I was so impressed with him. He is as polite as he is goodlooking and it was a pleasure to spend time with him. There are lots of good ones to process…I just picked three for now. Congratulations Cameron on your graduation….Shirley

Busy weekend!
I am behind in sneak peaks! After I turn in my portfolio tomorrow (30 plus pages!) I will get out my sneak peaks…I had five sessions this weekend so I better get busy!
I met and worked with such wonderful seniors this weekend! I consider it an honor and pleasure to spend time with each of you. All of you are so unique …and very special people. Your parents should be so proud.
I delivered four orders this weekend (or should I say Max!)….I have to share a card I received that put tears in my eyes…
“Shirley, I think you have to be the nicest business lady I have ever worked with. Thank you so much for all you have done for my family. The pictures are all beautiful.”
Wow…I do not think I deserved that but it did make my day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart…Shirley
Senior Lady Hawks!

We had no light!! The girls arrived late (they got lost – teenagers!!) so I just adjusted my camera appropriately, told them not to even breathe since the shutter speed was way, way down and captured these great images. When I say it was dark, I mean dark…we shot these at 7 p.m. on a gloomy rainy evening. All I could think was dang all of those workshops I have spent money on really paid off!
Aren’t they adorable? I watched them play tonight….WOW! Talent!!
beautiful women…
I receive lots of calls of women wanting to do something special and tasteful for their spouses. I recently attended a workshop that focused on just that!
