This is the third Devon I have photographed this summer for senior pictures! I love that name! This Devon spells it with an ‘on’, the others were “in.” My son and his friends were over last night and saw the photos I was working on. They are disappointed that your paths have not crossed at such a big school. Devon, you have some fans out there!

I have been photographing this little one since she was a couple of months old. I look forward to our shoots so Ican spend time with mom and grandma…I believe this is the fourth sitting we have had! It was very HOT. Mom and grandma were worried but I knew we had some good ones!….here is a sneak!

I adore this little boy. He has the most beautiful eyes and eyelashes. It was SO hot on this morning…I knew Mom thought we had nothing; however, I knew I had some special images in my camera. I was right!

I have known this  family for many years. As a matter of fact the beautiful daughter was my first official shoot three years ago! My has she changed! Here is a sneak…presently, I am working on your images.

I am finishing up my last New Jersey job today…look for sneak peaks from the jobs I have shot since I have come back! I will be working on them today…thanks for being patient!

I learned about this at my workshop in Utah. I personally think they are alot of fun! Here is a sample. As everything it is personal taste. You can do the look more subtle or more dramatic.

I hope everyone is surviving the heat! As for the Harris,’ daily trips to  Ice Wizards seems to do the trick!

Speaking of tricks, my niece is visiting from Phx. She and Carson are taking gymnastic classes this week. They have had so much fun!  We are having such a great summer. It is a nice break from teaching. Although I still have course work and photography, I have had more time to relax than I have had in a long time.  Family tradition is no bedtime in the summer (I know, I know!!!!) and I am not sure how I will ever transition Carson back to school routine. Thankfully, I have awhile before that happens!

I am excited…my adapter for my lights should arrive today! I cannot wait to get started! And my canvas for Carson should arrive too! Whoo hoo!

If anyone is looking for something to do 17 Again is at the dollar movie theatre. It is PG 13 for a reason (fyi). I went late last night and so enjoyed it! It was too funny and poor Adam Lambert has been replaced. My new boyfriend is  Zac Efron. He is gorgeous! Oh, I am not sure I wished I was 17 again, but I sure wish I looked 17 again.I lifeguarded the summer before my senior year which explains the tan. Well, the hair – I have always had straight hair but got caught up in the 80’s perm craze!  I wasn’t crazy about the perm and this was before flat irons so I tried to use hot rollers to tame it. I did not do a very good job!

I had fun working these this evening. This week I am getting alot of  new equipment delivered…I am so psyched. Two new backdrops, another AB 800, radio slaves,  pretty cool! I will be incorporating studio shots to coincide with your on location shoots. Seniors, you have reached a milestone in your lives! Lets celebrate!

I talked about the workshop I attended this past month on the blog before and I finally worked some images that I took when I was there. I learned so much!! We did studio and natural light, post processing, posing, and so much more. I won a sixteen by twenty canvas which I ordered tonight. I can’t wait to share!
